Rehlko is seeking a Shift Engineer to maintain and support a fleet of generators (20–1500kVA) across the region. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and help keep critical infrastructure operational.

The role requires a 12-hour shift pattern (4 on/4 off) and collaboration with coordinators. The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 (or time-served) in a mechanical/electrical discipline, strong fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving license.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 (or time-served) in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work both within a team and unsupervised.
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points) – towing experience is an advantage, with training available.
• Capable of completing risk assessments and adhering to safe systems of work.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on diesel generators.
• Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs.
• 12 hours per shift, on a 4 on / 4 off rota.
• Support mobile engineers in the field on occasion using a company vehicle.
• Work closely with Coordinators to ensure smooth scheduling and effective handovers.
• Collect parts from local suppliers when required.
• Maintain accurate job records using our in-house system.
• Always follow company health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
