Job summary

Rehlko Uninterruptible Power Ltd. is seeking a time-served Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to conduct planned and reactive maintenance on generators ranging from 20 to 1500 kVA.

You will work a 5-in-7 shift pattern, primarily midweek, with a company vehicle provided for field duties. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing breakdown repairs, and coordinating with schedulers to ensure efficient job planning.

Qualifications

Time-served Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or NVQ Level 2 or above.
Experience with generators ranging from 20-1500kVA.
Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points) and able to tow if needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on generators.
Work a shift pattern 5 days in 7, mainly midweek.
Occasionally assist other engineers in the field; company vehicle provided.
Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs.
Liaise with Coordinators to schedule and plan work.
Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Collect parts from suppliers and keep records in the company system.
