Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a technically proficient Setting Out Engineer to deliver high-precision control across civil and residential schemes in the South West.

You will create and extract digital setting-out data from design models, set out on site using robotic total stations and GNSS, and perform QA checks on observations and as-built drawings, interfacing between site teams and design data with LSS and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years field experience operating robotic total stations and GNSS/GPS on active sites.
• Proficient with creating/extracting site data and working with LSS and AutoCAD.
• Experience delivering setting out across civils to residential builds.
• Full UK driving licence with mobility to sites across Cornwall and Devon.

Responsibilities

• Create, establish and extract digital setting-out data from design models for field execution.
• Perform high-precision setting out on site using robotic total stations and GNSS equipment.
• Conduct QA checks on site observations, alignments and as-built drawings.
• Interface between site engineering and design data using LSS and AutoCAD to verify tolerances.
