Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment Plc is seeking an IT Field Service Engineer based in Crawley with nationwide travel. You will provide on-site IT hardware support, install and deploy desktops and laptops, and resolve hardware issues while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday 9:00–17:30 with out-of-hours standby. A UK driving licence is essential, BPSS clearance may be required, and overtime is paid according to policy.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Be prepared to undergo a BPSS check.
• Ability to resolve hardware issues and basic software problems.
• Experience deploying PCs (desktop/laptop).

Responsibilities

• Attend incidents/requests in a courteous, customer‑focussed manner.
• Monitor, update and progress assigned incidents promptly.
• Provide training, coaching and guidance to junior field service engineers.
