Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment Plc is seeking a Field Engineer to provide on-site IT hardware support across a defined geographic area in the UK. This is an ideal gateway into IT with opportunities to access the certification program for one of the world's largest IT manufacturers.

You will cover laptops, desktops, workstations, tablets, printers and servers, installing, maintaining, upgrading, and repairing IT products while delivering strong customer service and resolving technical issues.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, own car, and business insurance or to obtain upon offer.
• Ability to resolve hardware issues and basic software problems.
• Capable of building and deploying PCs (desktop and laptop).
• Good understanding of IT systems and environments.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware technical and break-fix support on laptops, desktops, workstations, tablets, printers and servers.
• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair IT products such as PCs, workstations, printers, terminals, servers and related devices.
• Attend incidents/requests as directed by the Customer Incident Centre in a courteous, customer-focused manner.
• Ensure incidents are monitored, updated, and progressed in Real Time.
• Coordinate between clients and vendors to ensure timely resolution of problems.
• Provide a high degree of customer satisfaction in all work undertaken.
• Maintain and manage parts in line with returns process and deadlines.
