Nidec Drives is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support and ensure our drive products run efficiently for clients. The role demands clear communication, troubleshooting skills, and a solid grasp of drive technology.

You will install, configure, and service drives on-site or remotely, respond to inquiries, perform maintenance, and collaborate with sales and engineering to resolve issues. A car allowance is provided for travel.

• Working knowledge of CODESYS/SyptPro/Fieldbus protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Role Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as Field Service Engineer, who will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our clients and ensuring that our products are running efficiently.

This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of technology and company products.

Key Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer consist of but are not limited to:

• To Install, configure, and troubleshoot our drive products on-site or remotely
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, e-mail, or in-person
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on our products
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify and resolve customer issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation and service reports

Travel Requirements:

Required to travel as and when needed- Car Allowance is payable
