Job summary

The Retention Group in Lincoln is seeking a Field Service Technician with full training provided to service and sell lifting equipment across Lincoln and the surrounding 30 miles.

You will work 8:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with a company van and a strong bonus scheme (£5k-£10k annually) on top of £29k-£30k base. A full UK driving licence is required and there is a clear path toward an engineering career.

The role would suit someone who’s looking for a career, not just another job. Those with experience working in a retail environment are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will cover the Lincoln and surrounding 30-mile area, attending client sites to carry out maintenance and repairs to a range of lifting equipment.

To earn the bonus, you’ll be upselling to existing customers and driving new business. This isn’t your typical door‑knocking/cold‑calling sales role, and you don’t need any previous sales experience.

The hours are 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with an excellent benefits package, including a company van.

This would be a brilliant opportunity for anyone currently working in a customer‑facing role and looking to pursue a hands‑on career.
