Job summary

Focal Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Technician (Maintenance) to service installations across Liverpool and nearby sites. This casual, zero-hours role involves on-the-road work with customer visits and requires a valid UK driving licence.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, install and configure components, and perform preventative maintenance to meet customer SLAs. Night and weekend work may be required as assignments arise.

Qualifications

• Previous field service or installation experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use power tools safely.
• Physical stamina for extended periods on feet.

Responsibilities

• Onsite and offsite maintenance of camera hardware and devices.
• Diagnose issues, install, replace and configure hardware per standards.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks.
• Respond promptly to service calls and meet SLAs.
• Maintain records of service activities and parts used.
• Attend installations at client sites, including night hours when required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.
