Job summary

Culligan UK in Lewisham is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to service water treatment systems at customer sites. You will carry out maintenance and repairs, install and troubleshoot equipment, and ensure customers receive outstanding service.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours (8:30am–5:00pm), full training, a company van with private use option, 23 days’ holiday, pension, sick pay, and clear opportunities for career progression within a growing field service team.

• Experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided.

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients\' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectivelyStrong DIY skills and experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
