Job summary

Culligan UK is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. You will service water treatment systems, install and troubleshoot equipment on client sites, and manage service schedules to minimise downtime.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, communicating issues, and delivering excellent customer service. A full UK driving licence is required; training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided.
• A full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Excellent communication and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Handle installation and troubleshooting at client locations.
• Oversee service schedules to minimise downtime for customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and actions.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and deliver great service.
• Weekly visits to the Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients\' locations
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectivelyStrong DIY skills and experience using power tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
