Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Rental Service Supervisor based in Wick to coordinate Field Service Engineers, manage breakdowns and diagnose faults remotely. The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary around £38,200 per annum and a structured Monday–Friday schedule.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical or electrical background, strong customer service skills, and experience in service coordination.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical background required.
• Strong organisational and communication skills essential.
• Good IT skills; forklift licence and power gens experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage breakdowns and technical service enquiries.
• Coordinate and schedule Field Service Engineers.
• Diagnose faults remotely where possible.
• Plan preventative maintenance and emergency call-outs.
• Liaise with the Parts Department to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
• Monitor service performance and maintain accurate records.
• Support the Service Manager with day-to-day running of the department.
• Participate in the on-call rota after training.
