Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking a Rental Service Supervisor in Bristol. The role focuses on coordinating engineers, handling technical service queries, and delivering excellent customer service. You will manage breakdowns, schedule engineers, and monitor service performance within a busy team.

The position requires a mechanical or electrical background, strong IT skills, and a customer-focused approach. A forklift licence and power-generation experience are advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical background is essential.
• Experience in service coordination or technical supervision.
• Knowledge of generators or similar equipment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage breakdowns and technical service enquiries.
• Coordinate and schedule Field Service Engineers.
• Diagnose faults remotely where possible.
• Plan preventative maintenance and emergency call-outs.
• Liaise with the Parts Department to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
• Monitor service performance and maintain accurate records.
• Support the Service Manager with day-to-day running of the department.
