Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Field Service Coordinator to support UK field service operations, coordinating resources, equipment, vehicles, and requirements for transformer services, grid connection projects, commissioning, maintenance, and emergency response.

The role involves close collaboration with Service Managers, Project Managers, Field Engineers, Procurement, and stakeholders to ensure readiness and delivery of service commitments across a diverse HV and power systems portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in resource planning, scheduling, or service coordination within a technical environment.
• Proven understanding of fleet management and vehicle coordination.
• Experience raising and managing purchase orders and supplier relationships is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-term and long-term resource plans to support service operations and project delivery.
• Coordinate deployment of field engineers, commissioning staff, and subcontractors to meet requirements.
• Monitor capacity, skills gaps, and recruitment needs.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and reactive service activities to meet customer commitments.
