Job summary

HUBER Technology is seeking a Mechanical Service Technician to cover the Rotherham area, with a company van provided for travel. The role involves field-based servicing, installation and troubleshooting of HUBER machinery, on-site visits, and direct interaction with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Apprentice scheme or NVQ Level 2 in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years' site-based mechanical experience.
• Welding/fabrication experience desirable, with TIG welding preferred.
• Willingness to travel and a clean driving licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits to perform inspections or mechanical service/fitting work.
• Ensure site work is completed to a high standard and resolve issues on site.
• Manage on-site client relationships and liaise with stakeholders.
• Create site reports upon completion of work.
• Coordinate with Regional Field Manager and colleagues to maximise on-site efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers and sub-contractors to support site activities.
