Job summary

Reval UK, a respected leader in assisted bathing, is seeking a Field Service & Installation Technician based in Brynmenyn. The role involves installing, servicing, and repairing products at care homes nationwide, with UK-wide travel and regular on-site visits.

You will diagnose faults, complete service reports, and ensure safety and quality on every site, while maintaining company vehicles and tools to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence required.
• Experience installing, servicing, and repairing equipment within care/home environments is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong fault-finding and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and repair Reval UK's assisted bathing products at customer sites across the UK, predominantly in care homes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
• Complete service reports, installation records, and documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.

Location: Brynmenyn, CF32 (UK-wide travel required)

Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and repair Reval UK's assisted bathing products at customer sites throughout the UK, predominantly within care homes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.
• Complete service reports, installation records, and documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Comply with all customer site procedures, including health, safety, hygiene, and safeguarding requirements.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and warehouse areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
• Represent Reval UK professionally at all times, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays when required.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Confident driving a Luton box van fitted with a tail lift.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Good organisational and planning skills.
• Competent using iPads, smartphones, email systems, and electronic testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Desirable

• CSCS Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Electrical qualification and/or relevant electrical experience.
• Plumbing qualification or experience.
• Forklift licence.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
