Rotork in Leeds is seeking a proactive Field Service Coordinator to join our Service team. This role coordinates Field Service Engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery, while collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and customers.

You will support planning, scheduling, technical coordination, and commercial awareness to optimise service performance and contribute to revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Technical qualification in Mechanical or Mechanical/Electrical engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience in a service coordination, engineering support, or similar operational role.
  • Experience operating in a customer-facing and service delivery environment.
  • Experience working in a site-based or operational environment with close collaboration with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate Field Service Engineers to ensure efficient service delivery and resource utilisation.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all service-related activities, managing requests from receipt through to completion.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end service process, including job logging, quotations, scheduling, execution, and billing.
  • Work closely with engineers and site-based teams to support effective service planning and real-time operational decisions.
  • Ensure service activities are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Support the improvement of first-time fix rates through effective coordination, planning, and communication.
  • Monitor engineer availability, workload, and service priorities to maximise operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with customers to provide updates, manage expectations, and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of service work and accurate invoicing.
  • Contribute to revenue performance by identifying opportunities for additional service work and ensuring quotations are processed effectively.

Technical skills / tools:

  • Experience using Field Service Management (FSM), ERP, and/or CRM systems
  • Good understanding of engineering service environments (e.g., actuators or similar equipment desirable)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding of HSE requirements, including permits to work and safe systems of work
