Job summary

Franke Coffee Systems UK is seeking a Service Engineer in West London to provide on-site technical support and ensure timely resolution of issues. You will deliver reliable service, manage van stock, and report back to the Regional Team Leader on training and stock needs.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in the coffee/vending sector, strong communication skills, integrity, and the ability to escalate when necessary, with a proactive approach to admin and courses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in the coffee machine or vending industry.
• Proficient with phones and laptops.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High personal integrity and reliability.
• Skilled in analysing and prioritising tasks.
• Willing to escalate and inform when needed.
• Ad hoc duties in daily remit may arise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Franke UK Technical Standards and Processes are followed.
• On-call weekend rota for Engineer Technical Assistance and reactive calls (1 in 6 weekends).
• Highlight technical skills gaps to improve service.
• Manage stock levels at the site and with van stock as needed.
• Maintain site-level customer relations and communications.
• Keep up with company admin and training courses.
• Flag issues requiring Account Support due to ongoing customer issues.

About the job

We're looking for a Service Engineer based in West London. The Service Engineer role holds the responsibility for the technical support of our customers and resolution of ongoing issues when required. You will deliver a quality and reliable service to our customers and colleagues ensuring that reliability issues are dealt in a timely manner, and any issues with van stock or training needs will be reported back to the Regional Team Leader.

• Ensure agreed Franke UK Technical Standards and Processes are adhered to
• On Call weekend rota for Engineer Technical Assistance and reactive calls (1 every 6 weekends)
• Highlight Technical skills gap.
• Managing stock levels
• Managing customer relations at a site level
• Keeping up to date with all company admin and courses
• Highlight issues where Account Support is required due to ongoing Customer Issues

Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate an understanding and experience in remit of the Field Engineers role
• Minimum 2 years experience working in the coffee machine or vending industry
• Competent using phones and laptop
• Excellent communications skills.
