Job summary
A leading technology company in waterjet systems is seeking an Aftersales & Service Engineer to support high-pressure waterjet cutting systems across the UK. Responsibilities include service work, troubleshooting machine failures, and providing technical support to customers. The ideal candidate should have a technical education in mechanics and/or electronics, excellent communication skills, and be willing to travel. This position offers ongoing training and a fully expensed company vehicle.
Qualifications
Electrical qualification is preferred but not essential.
Flexible in location of work, must be willing to travel and prepared to stay away from home as required.
Good command of English language is a must for internal company communication.
Responsibilities
Service work, to include preventative maintenance, machine inspections and new installations.
Troubleshoot and fix machine failures on site and remotely.
Provide professional technical support to minimize downtime.
Skills
Technical education in the field of mechanics and/or electronics
Practical knowledge in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering
Customer orientated with a professional & positive attitude
Good organizational skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Familiar with Microsoft office software
Flexible in location of work
Driving license
Good command of English language
