Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the North UK region. You’ll install, commission, repair, and service our products, ensuring quality and compliance with procedures while collaborating with field service engineers, quality engineers, and administration teams.

You will troubleshoot issues, complete on-site reports, and identify opportunities to promote additional services.

Qualifications

Substantial work experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
GCSE qualifications (A-C) and/or A Levels and/or an Apprenticeship qualification/HNC.
18th Edition qualification would be advantageous.
A current and valid CSCS card or industry-recognised equivalent.
Experience or understanding of manufacturing, construction, or mechanical services.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, repair, overhaul, and service products to standards, following procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within product range; perform root-cause analysis.
Provide concise, accurate reports on on-site work and complete paperwork on time.
Promote and offer alternative equipment or services during on-site visits.
Deliver exceptional customer service and proactive, efficient solutions.
Develop and coach team members.
