Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service a fleet of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across the North West. The role is primarily field based with some on-site work, offering full training and career development in the materials handling industry.

You will perform routine servicing, inspections, and fault-finding progressively, with support from experienced engineers. A UK driving licence is essential, and the package includes van, pension, and overtime benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience.
• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical/automotive/plant field.
• Willingness to learn and develop in materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance on forklift trucks and warehouse equipment.
• Work on electric, LPG and diesel counterbalance, pallet and reach trucks.
• Complete planned maintenance and inspections to high standards.
• Identify issues during checks and escalate as needed.
• Represent the company professionally at customer sites.
• Manage workload independently while maintaining safety and workmanship.
