Job summary
NEOS Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair specialist equipment across customer sites. You will help minimise downtime and ensure machinery operates efficiently, visiting client locations and resolving technical issues in the field.
The role requires strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, the ability to work independently, and a valid UK driving license.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Good hydraulic fault-finding ability.
- Electrical/diagnostic experience.
- Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural or specialist equipment.
- Comfortable working independently and travelling to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs.
- Carry out inspections and safety checks.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records.
- Build strong relationships with customers.
- Provide professional technical support.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety.
