Job summary
NEOS Engineering is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to service, repair and maintain a range of plant and construction equipment. The role involves fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, both in the workshop and on customer sites.
You will perform planned maintenance, attend sites for repairs, and complete servicing documentation while maintaining high safety and quality standards. A full UK driving licence and practical plant experience are essential.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Plant Engineer or Mobile Plant Engineer in construction/heavy plant
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding experience
- Experience servicing and repairing plant equipment and site machinery
Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of plant and construction equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Attending customer sites to carry out repairs and servicing
- Preparing machinery for hire/return and ensuring equipment is safe and operational
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Working closely with customers and the wider engineering team
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
