Job summary

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service and repair a wide range of plant hire equipment across customer sites and company locations. The role demands a strong background in plant hire, construction equipment or heavy plant and a proactive approach to safety and service excellence.

You will travel to customer sites, diagnose faults, carry out servicing and maintenance, and complete accurate service reports.

Qualifications

• Essential: Full UK driving licence.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding ability and experience with servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Experience in plant hire, construction equipment or heavy plant environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on plant and construction equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend customer sites to investigate and repair breakdowns and complete inspections.

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant Maintenance / Engineering
