Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Field Engineer in the UK to maintain, repair and optimise TOMRA reverse vending machines at customer sites. The role combines hands-on technical work with customer interaction, requiring travel within the region and a proactive, safety‑minded approach.

Training and development are supported in a collaborative team environment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with new installations after training, while building strong customer

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in electro-mechanical systems with a willingness to learn
• Curious, solution-oriented mindset and attention to detail
• Customer-focused with clear communication
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• UK driving licence and ability to travel within region

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair TOMRA RVMs at customer sites
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues with support as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to maximise uptime
• Assist installation and commissioning of new machines following training
• Build strong relationships with customers and site contacts
• Record work and updates accurately using digital tools (IFS)
• Manage van stock and equipment readiness for service calls
• Stay current with TOMRA technology and contribute improvement ideas
