Job summary

TOMRA UK is seeking Field Service Engineers to install, maintain and repair Reverse Vending Machines at customer sites across the North West and North East, with the initial roll-out through Oct 2027 and beyond. This hands-on role combines planned and reactive work, flexible scheduling and regular travel.

You’ll work safely under TOMRA standards, undergo training, and enjoy a competitive benefits package including health insurance, a pension, tenure leave and a company bonus.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in electro‑mechanical systems, with willingness to learn analysis and repair.
• Curious, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Customer-focused approach and clear, confident communication.
• Comfortable using power tools and traveling to sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair field equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; perform preventative maintenance.
• Travel across the region; build relationships with customers and site contacts.
• Record service activities and machine status using digital tools.
