Job summary

Verra Mobility is a global road safety technology business partnering with governments and transport authorities to deliver roadside camera systems, speed enforcement technology and networked infrastructure. We are seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer / Operations Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot roadside technology across the region.

This mobile, field-based role requires solving technical problems across different sites, with on-call support and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years hands-on field engineering or related technical maintenance.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of networking, LAN/WAN and Microsoft operating systems.
Valid UK driving licence; able to travel and stay away overnight when needed.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, test and maintain roadside technology and equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, electrical and network faults.
Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and calibration.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving networks, cabling and related systems.
Maintain accurate technical records and service reports.
Work safely across roadside and outdoor environments.
Travel between regional sites and participate in on-call support, including overnight stays.
