Verra Mobility is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer / Operations Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot roadside technology across the region. This field-based role requires solving technical problems on-site at multiple locations with occasional overnight stays.

You’ll work across CCTV, networking, and electrical systems, with a safety-first approach and the ability to report clearly on service activities. A UK driving licence is essential, and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifikationen

• At least two years' hands-on experience in field engineering, telecommunications, IT infrastructure or technical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with networking, LAN/WAN connectivity, cabling and Microsoft operating systems.
• Experience installing, configuring or maintaining hardware and software.

Verra Mobility is a global road safety technology business partnering with governments and transport authorities to deliver roadside camera systems, speed enforcement technology and networked infrastructure.

We're looking for a hands‑on Field Service Engineer / Operations Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot roadside technology across the region.

This is an independent, field‑based role suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working across different sites and keeping critical systems running.

You don't need experience in traffic enforcement. We welcome candidates from telecommunications, fibre networks, IT infrastructure, CCTV, electronics and other technical field service backgrounds.

What you'll do

• Basic electrical or wiring knowledge.
• A safety‑first approach and confidence working independently.
• Good communication, organisation and technical reporting skills.
• A full, valid UK driving license.
• Experience with CCTV, fiber networks, roadside infrastructure or intelligent transport systems is advantageous but not essential. Relevant technical qualifications and safety certifications are also welcomed.
