Verra Mobility Corporation is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer / Operations Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot roadside technology across the United Kingdom. This mobile, field-based role involves visiting multiple sites, independent problem solving and ensuring critical systems stay online.

You don’t need prior traffic enforcement experience; telecoms, fibre networks, IT infrastructure and CCTV backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifikationen

• Two years hands-on field engineering or related experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Networking and cabling knowledge.
• Experience installing or maintaining hardware/software.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Safety-conscious and able to work independently.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Aufgaben

• Install, commission, test and maintain roadside technology and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, electrical and network faults.
• Preventative maintenance, repairs and equipment calibration.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving networks, cabling and systems.
• Maintain technical records and service reports.
• Work safely across roadside and outdoor environments.
• Manage work independently, coordinate with customers and technical teams.
• Participate in on-call support and travel between regional sites, including occasional overnight stays.
