Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the South of the UK, providing installation, servicing and fault rectification for CCTV, driver assistance and vehicle-based technologies across transport sectors.

You will work remotely as part of a regional team, travel to customer sites, perform preventative maintenance, and deliver high levels of service with accurate reporting and stock management.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding on vehicle electrical/electronic systems.
• Maintenance and repair of CCTV, DVRs, telematics, and driver assistance systems.
• Field service experience in transport sectors (bus/rail/coach/auto).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to manage preventative maintenance and respond to service calls.
• Excellent customer service and reporting abilities; capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and fault fix CCTV and vehicle electronics at customer sites.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and respond to service calls.
• Provide accurate reports and maintain stock/tools in field operations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, service teams and management.
• Work flexibly with occasional overnight stays and night shifts.
