Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer for UK coverage, focusing on end-of-line packaging machinery. The role involves repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning, with emphasis on fault finding and Siemens PLC upgrades.

Home-based role serving the UK & Ireland, requiring 2–3 nights away weekly and occasional weekend work. You should bring hands-on packaging machinery experience in the food/beverage sector and electrical/electronic engineering

Qualifications

• Field Service Engineer with hands-on packaging machinery experience in food/beverage market.
• Experience fault finding, modifying and upgrading Siemens PLCs.
• Willing to travel UK & Ireland; 2–3 nights away per week and one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end-of-line packaging machinery.
• Work with PLCs; fault finding, modifying and upgrading of Siemens PLCs.
• UK & Ireland coverage with travel requirements.
