Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an accomplished Field Service Engineer to repair, refurbish, install and commission end-of-line packaging machinery across the UK and Ireland. The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, particularly Siemens, for fault finding and upgrades.

The position is home-based with nationwide coverage, involving 2–3 nights away weekly and one weekend per month. Training is provided, with overtime paid door-to-door and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Field Service Engineer in food/beverage packaging.
• Experience fault finding, modifying & upgrading Siemens PLCs.
• Electrical & electronic engineering qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end-of-line packaging machinery.
• Work with PLCs, fault finding, modifying and upgrading Siemens PLCs or similar.
• Cover the UK and Ireland, with 2–3 nights away per week and one weekend per month.
