Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Field Service Engineer to repair, refurbish, install and commission end-of-line packaging machinery across the UK and Ireland. You will work with Siemens PLCs, performing fault finding, modifications and upgrades while travelling 2–3 nights per week and occasionally one weekend per month.

The role requires hands-on electrical/electronic engineering experience in food/beverage packaging, and offers a base salary up to £50,000 with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Engineer with hands-on packaging machinery experience in food and/or beverage markets.
• Experience in fault finding and upgrading Siemens PLCs or similar.
• Willingness to travel UK & Ireland 2–3 nights per week with one weekend per month on average.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end-of-line packaging machinery.
• Fault finding and upgrading Siemens PLCs and related control systems.
• Cover the UK & Ireland as required, with on-site service to customers.
