Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to repair, refurbish, install and commission end-of-line packaging machinery across the UK and Ireland. You will work with PLCs and ideally demonstrate fault finding, modifying and upgrading Siemens PLCs or similar.

You will be home based with travel, spending 2–3 nights away weekly and a weekend per month, with full training provided and overtime opportunities to reach around £65k including earnings.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Field Service Engineer in packaging machinery (food/beverage).
• Electrical & Electronic engineering qualifications; fault finding and PLC modification experience.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs or similar and UK/Ireland travel.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning of end-of-line packaging machinery.
• Work with PLCs; fault finding, modifying and upgrading Siemens PLCs or similar.
• Cover the UK and Ireland; spend 2–3 nights away from home and one weekend per month.
