Job summary

STOW Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the UK After-Sales Service team. You will be responsible for ensuring performance, safety and compliance of storage installations at customer sites, with hands-on technical interventions and travel across the UK.

The role emphasizes on-site problem solving, coordination of contractors, and delivering clear technical reports in a dynamic global company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in field service, industrial maintenance or technical installations.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Relevant technical qualification in electrical engineering, electromechanics, industrial maintenance or a similar discipline.
• Appropriate electrical safety qualifications or authorisations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, including overnight stays when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, modifications and troubleshooting on existing storage installations.
• Coordinate on-site activities, acting as the main point of contact between customers and stow.
• Supervise additional contractors or installation teams when required.
• Prepare accurate technical intervention reports.
• Participate in the inspection and handover of completed works.
• Support the commissioning of new installations.
• Coordinate technical activities and contractors on site.
• Ensure installations meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.
