Job summary

STOW Group is seeking a Field Service Technician for our UK After-Sales Service team. Based around Birmingham, you will travel to customer sites to ensure performance, safety, and compliance of storage installations.

Responsibilities include on-site repairs, supervising contractors, reporting, and helping with commissioning of new systems. Strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and driving licence essential.

• Practical experience, technical expertise and the right attitude are valued.
• Experience in field service, industrial maintenance or technical installations.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge required.
• Relevant technical qualification and electrical safety qualifications.

• Ensure installations meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Identify issues and recommend corrective actions.

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our UK After-Sales Service team.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, safety and compliance of our storage installations at customer sites.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Maintenance & Inspections

• Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with service agreements.
• Carry out technical product inspections and audits.
• Identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• More than qualifications, we value practical experience, technical expertise and the right attitude.
• Previous experience in field service, industrial maintenance or technical installations.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Relevant technical qualification in electrical engineering, electromechanics, industrial maintenance or a similar discipline.
• Appropriate electrical safety qualifications or authorisations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, including overnight stays when required.
