Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and sustain high quality for plant-delivered products at the Droitwich Spa site. You will work within a procedures framework to meet department goals, travelling for supplier inspections as needed.

The role demands experience in mechanical fabrication, process control, and a strong eye for detail, with responsibilities spanning NCR management, quality plans, and data books to support turnkey projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/electromechanical fabrication or modular plant construction.
• Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings and data sheets.
• Strong on-site communication and problem solving on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
• Implement quality sampling methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Review NDT coordination and close out findings with reports.
• Maintain traceability, quality plans, ITPs, and NCRs.
