Job summary

Linde Material Handling is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across customer sites in and around Peterborough. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and carry out preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation and high reliability of our fleet.

The role offers a 40- or 45-hour week, with possible overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Comfort using IT equipment for service records and orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain forklift and material-handling equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.
• Travel to customer locations within the Peterborough area and build strong customer relationships.
• Assist in after-sales support and parts recommendations where appropriate.
