Job summary

Linde Material Handling Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service forklift trucks and material handling equipment across the UK. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance while traveling to customer sites and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role demands hands-on problem solving, ability to work autonomously and within a team, and a commitment to safety with provided PPE and tooling. A full UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle or forklift technicians is preferred.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent is ideal but not mandatory.
• Full UK driving license is required.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team, with strong problem solving.
• Comfortable using IT for service records and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep fleets operating efficiently.
• Travel to customer locations, service sites, and provide on-site support.
• Work with a team and utilise provided tooling and PPE.
