Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Peterborough is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service forklifts and warehouse equipment across customer sites throughout the PE1, PE26-29 area. The role combines hands-on diagnostics with preventative maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.

You will travel to customer locations, work independently and with teams, and contribute to excellent customer service. A UK driving licence and IT proficiency are essential, with training and progression

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers in field service roles.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Must be comfortable using IT equipment and software for service records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Linde forklifts and related material handling equipment across customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service checks to keep fleets operating safely and efficiently.
