Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to join the team in Northamptonshire. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of material handling equipment, from pallet trucks to VNA trucks, while maintaining proactive service routines.

Role involves customer-site visits, on-call support, and opportunities for long-term training and progression. A full UK driving licence and ability to work autonomously or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly forklift technicians or plant/vehicle technicians.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
• Comfortable using IT equipment to place orders and keep records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups on a managed fleet.
• Travel to customer locations to service forklifts and other material handling equipment.
