Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair a range of sophisticated medical diagnostic systems used in pathology and NHS laboratories. You will travel to customer sites and deliver practical troubleshooting and effective repairs.

The role requires handling high-value equipment, liaising with lab managers and technicians across NHS and private networks. Full product training is provided, with five days out of seven work pattern and some weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Field service/technical support experience on high value capital equipment with electronics background.
• Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems or high value capital equipment.
• Full product training provided; candidates from varied backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair on diagnostic systems in NHS labs and clinical environments.
• Visit customer sites and troubleshoot to provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with NHS and private lab staff including managers and technicians.
