Job summary

TRS Consulting is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer specializing in Medical Diagnostic Systems. You will service and repair a wide range of high‑value diagnostic capital equipment at NHS laboratories and private labs, visiting sites nationwide.

The role includes some weekend work, a basic salary of £52,000 plus a £7,200 car allowance and a £6,000 bonus, with pension, private healthcare and 25 days holiday. Full product training is provided.

Qualifications

• Competent background as a field service engineer with experience on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics.
• Experience with diagnostic systems or medical devices is highly regarded.
• Full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair on medical diagnostic systems at NHS laboratories and private labs.
• Visit customer sites and troubleshoot to provide solutions.
• Liaise with NHS laboratory managers and technicians and other external contacts.
