Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Medical Diagnostic Systems to service and repair high-value diagnostic equipment across NHS and private laboratories. You will travel to customer sites, diagnose faults and implement effective solutions, ensuring minimal downtime.

The role requires a technically motivated engineer with electronics qualification, a customer-focused approach and willingness to work five days out of seven, including some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Background as field service or technical support on high value capital equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, or laboratory systems.
• Full product training will be provided and will be considered regardless of background.

Responsibilities

• Service and breakdown repair on medical and laboratory diagnostic systems in pathology/NHS environments.
• Visit customer sites and troubleshoot with customers.
• Liaise with NHS and private laboratories and managers.
