Job summary

TRS Consulting seeks a Field Service Engineer to service and repair high-value medical and laboratory diagnostic equipment across NHS and private labs. The role involves on-site visits, troubleshooting with laboratory staff, and providing practical solutions.

You'll work five days out of seven with some weekend work, supported by full product training. A competitive package includes base salary, car allowance, and bonus, plus pension and private healthcare options.

Qualifications

Competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with experience on high value capital equipment.
Qualification in electronics; experience on diagnostic systems or medical devices is advantageous.
Willingness to cover NHS and private laboratory environments; full product training provided.

Responsibilities

Service and breakdown repair on sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems in pathology and NHS labs.
Visit customer sites and provide solutions for troubleshooting and repair.
Coordinate with hospital staff and external contacts to ensure service continuity.
