Job summary

TRS Consulting seeks a Field Service Engineer to service, install, diagnose and calibrate laboratory X-ray systems at customer sites across the UK, working on high-value capital equipment in laboratories and pharmaceutical environments. The role demands a practical, customer-focused approach and strong fault-finding across electro-mechanical diagnostics.

You’ll receive full product training, a salary of £45,000–£50,000 with an 8%–12% bonus, plus a Company Car, healthcare and a contributory

Qualifications

• Competent background as a field service/technical support engineer on high-value capital equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems or similar high-value equipment.
• Full product training will be provided and all backgrounds will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, diagnose, repair and calibrate laboratory X-ray systems.
• Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and on-site support.
• Provide high-quality technical assistance and customer-focused service.

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, breakdown repair and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated scientific and laboratory systems, utilised within laboratories and pharmaceutical environments.

Your Background -Field Service Engineer,Laboratory X-Ray Systems

To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
• You may have experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high value electronic / electro-mechanical capital equipment
• Full product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service and customer support, your application will be considered
