Job summary

Asahi Glassplant UK Ltd seeks a hands-on UK Service Engineer to install systems, diagnose issues, and deliver high-quality repairs and upgrades (warranty and non-warranty). You will use Zoho for support tickets and ensure fast, practical customer responses.

The role reports to the UK Head of Engineering, with a hybrid pattern based from Royston and customer sites across the UK, including global travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service engineering in the UK.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
• Strong customer-facing communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installations and remote commissioning as needed.
• Carry out servicing and repairs of UK products.
• Provide technical support via Zoho tickets and customer liaison.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Production teams.
• Lead or assist in larger installations with another installer.
