Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Dudley is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to support our industrial equipment at customer sites across the UK and internationally.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and control faults, service and maintain machinery, install and commission equipment, and travel regularly to client sites while collaborating with design and engineering teams to optimise performance.

Qualifications

• A solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Experience fault finding on industrial machinery or electromechanical equipment.
• The confidence to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• An interest in automation, PLCs or control systems - experience here would be a bonus.
• A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Getting to the bottom of mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
• Servicing, repairing and maintaining specialist industrial machinery.
• Installing, testing and commissioning equipment at customer sites.
• Travelling across the UK and internationally to support customers.
• Working alongside design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Showing customers how to operate and maintain their equipment.
