Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Service Engineer to cover Manchester and the North West region. You will service, maintain, and repair industrial doors and loading bay equipment, ensuring uptime and customer satisfaction.

The role requires an engineering background with field service experience, a flexible travel pattern, and the ability to work independently with customers. A strong focus on diagnostics and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or similar engineering discipline.
• Field service experience in industrial doors or similar equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and face-to-face with customers.
• Willingness to travel and join on-call rota (1 in 5).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors and dock equipment.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown response.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Provide clear service reports and recommendations.
• Identify additional works and support conversion of quotes.
• Support installations when required.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service on-site.
