Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for the South West region. You will perform planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on conveyor systems across customer sites in the UK, with occasional overseas assignments.

You will work both independently and as part of a regional team, supporting installations and maintenance activities while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification or completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar engineering environment working with Conveyor systems.
• Strong background in delivering PPM schedules, KPIs, and services on customer sites.
• Experience with permit-to-work systems.
• Technically competent in mechanical and electrical systems in distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules and contractual requirements.
• Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults.
• Identify and recommend improvements to equipment and maintenance processes.
• Participate in the service and call-out rota.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and compliant with Health & Safety legislation.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
