Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, service and repair our equipment at customer sites in the South Yorkshire region, including Sheffield. The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, proven electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability, and a customer‑facing mindset.

You will travel to sites, complete service reports and participate in ongoing product training.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service Engineer/Technical Service Engineer in industrial/manufacturing sectors with strong troubleshooting focus.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Certifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Networking or Software are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Provide internal and external training where needed.
• Complete service reports with time, parts, faults and solutions.
• Maintain installed base data (serial numbers, ink, counters, locations).
• Promote service products to customers and build strong relationships.
